We had a wonderful month at the Sea Star Class. We learned about the moon, sun, earth, the five senses, and apples in September. Yesterday, we made homemade applesauce and ate it for a snack today. In the afternoon, the children will get the opportunity to taste five different kinds of apples and decide their favorite. The kindergarten students went on their first field trip to the Pine Valley Library, got library cards, and checked out a book to read at home.

October will be a busy month for our school. We will learn about Fall, pumpkins, vertebrates/invertebrates, families, land, air, water, and fire safety. On Tuesday, October 10, the kindergarteners are going on a field trip to the Ingram Planetarium. More information will be sent home next week. School pictures for the Children’s School will be on Wednesday, October 11. Monday, October 16, is a teacher workday, and there will be no school for students. The Fall Festival is on Thursday, October 26, from 5:30 to 7:30. Parent-teacher conferences are on Wednesday, November 1. Ms. Michelle will be sending a signup genius to everyone. Please mark your calendars.

Ms. Kristin, the music teacher, would like to share her wish list with you: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/LAJN6H6W8D10?ref_=wl_share.

I would like to thank all the parents who have purchased items from our Amazon wishlist. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

In Peace,

Ms. Samara and Ms. Alyssa
