We hope everyone had a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving break! It’s hard to believe that Christmas is upon us. During December, the kiddos will explore the continent of Australia and learn about the different holidays celebrated around the world during this time of the year. Ms. Avery will teach about Christmas, Ms. Sally will talk about Kwanzaa, and I will focus on Hanukkah, the festival of lights.

Here are some important dates for this month: Sunday, December 10th is our annual school Holiday Bazaar. It will be held at the Flying Machine Brewery from 10 to 3. The Children’s School will have a table with some crafts for purchase created by the kids. Winter break is from December 20th through January 4th.

On December 8, Amanda, Gabriella’s mom, volunteered to come to our class and work with the children on a Christmas craft. We’re excited to have her join us.

Thank you for all you do to help make our class an excellent place for all the students. I am grateful for the parents who volunteered to work on letter sounds with the children weekly. Your dedication helps enhance the positive experience the children have at our school.

Happy Holidays!

In Peace,

Ms. Samara and Ms. Alyssa
